Celebrate! Los Angeles Ballet has reached it's Fifth Anniversary thanks to patrons and supporters like you. The 2010/2011 landmark season will culminate in Season5 Gala Celebration on Saturday May 28th, 2011, at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, after a performance of the exquisite, timeless, full-length romantic classic Giselle. Please join us and share in the accomplishment that you helped make possible. Now a beloved Southern California tradition, The Nutcracker returns in December 2010. Celebration comes to you in March, featuring Balanchine's luscious Raymonda Variations and riotous Western Symphony, plus another World Premiere created specifically for LAB dancers by the returning Sonya Tayeh! In May, LAB presents the cherished romantic gem Giselle, choreographed by Artistic Director Thordal Christensen after Coralli, Perrot and Petipa. The LAB Choreographic Workshop will take place May 24, 2011. Los Angeles Ballet Artistic Directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary remain committed to the workshop process, to identifiying and nurturing emerging choreographers, composers and designers.
