Los Angeles Ballet Appears on Fox Hit Show
So You Think You Can Dance!

On July 24th, Los Angeles Ballet was a guest on the hit FOX show So You Think You Can Dance! LAB’s artistic directors presented dancers Aubrey Morgan and Eddy Tovar* in The Man I Love, excerpted from George Balanchine’s ballet Who Cares? with music by George Gershwin. Los Angeles Ballet was introduced to 16 million viewers!

Colleen Neary Travels to St. Petersberg

In July of this year co-artistic director Colleen Neary was in St. Petersburg, Russia, staging George Balanchine’s Symphony in C on the acclaimed Kirov Ballet as part of the city’s White Nights Festival.

Los Angeles Ballet Center Opens

Los Angeles Ballet announces the opening of the Los Angeles Ballet Center, the new home of LAB and the Los Angeles Ballet School. The Center’s 12,000 square feet houses two 2000 sq. ft. studios, company and school offices, and the Los Angeles Ballet Box Office and Costume Shop. The studios are available for rent by calling 310. 477.7411. Rentals include the use of 2 dressing rooms that are locker equipped, restrooms, lunchroom, and lobby/green room. The Los Angeles Ballet Center is located in west Los Angeles at 11755 Exposition Boulevard, near the major cross streets of Olympic and Barrington. 

Colleen Neary travels to Portland & Moscow

Continuing her global work as a member of the George Balanchine Trust, Colleen Neary has just returned from Moscow's Bolshoi Ballet where she staged and rehearsed Symphony in C. Next she is off to Portland, Oregon to restage Rubies, a work she originally set there in 2003.
