In March 2009, LAB is pleased to present two Los Angeles Ballet premieres: George Balanchine’s Violin Concerto with a score by Igor Stravinsky, and Balanchine’s Prodigal Son, music by Sergei Prokofiev. The program will also feature a World Premiere choreographed by Southern California native Jennifer Backhaus, generously underwritten by Linda Duttenhaver.
