In Spring 2008, we present a World Premiere by Los Angeles Ballet's Melissa Barak who has choreographed for New York City Ballet to critical acclaim. Tarantella is a charming, vivacious pas de deux danced to spirited music by Gottschalk/Kay. We also present The Four Temperaments, a monumental Balanchine masterpiece set to a majestic Hindemith score commissioned by Balanchine for this work. |
