Evan Gorbell

Evan Gorbell trained at Miami City Ballet in the pre-professional program. In 2021, Evan joined Sarasota Ballet as an apprentice, was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2022, and became a Soloist in 2023. He has danced ballets choreographed by George Balanchine, Paul Taylor, Edwaard Liang, and Jessica Lang. Evan joined the Los Angeles Ballet in 2025, where he performed as the Prince in Liang’s Cinderella. Some of his favorite roles include Melancholic in Balanchine’s Four Temperaments, Fourth Movement Principal in Balanchine’s Western Symphony, and Twyla Tharp’s In the Upper Room.
