Los Angeles Ballet presents a company of outstanding dancers from local communities and around the world. LAB dance artists master classical as well as contemporary techniques. Chloe Oronoz Hometown Orange County, CA Seasons with LAB 1 Season with LAB Chloe began her ballet training at age eight at the Nouveau Chamber Ballet with Lois Ellyn. In 2013, she continued her instruction at the Anaheim Ballet School under the direction of Larry and Sarma Rosenberg. Under their guidance, Chloe was given many opportunities; most notably, she was a finalist in the Youth America Grand Prix and a Music Center Spotlight merit awardee. In 2020, Chloe was invited to train at the Colburn School’s Dance Academy under the direction of former New York City Ballet principal dancers, Jenifer Ringer and James Fayette. Chloe was privileged to be trained by outstanding instructors, including Silas Farley and Janie Taylor, as well as guest artists such as Alonzo King. Her repertoire included principal and soloist roles in George Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15 , Jerome Robbins’ Antique Epigraphs , and Justin Peck’s Pulcinella Variations . Chloe joined LAB as a Trainee in 2024 and was promoted to the Company in 2025.

Los Angeles Ballet presents a company of outstanding dancers from local communities and around the world. LAB dance artists master classical as well as contemporary techniques. Anna Funakura Hometown Palos Verdes, CA Seasons with LAB 1 Season with LAB Anna began her training at age 9 with Palos Verdes Ballet. She trained at Pavlova Professional Coaching under Olga Pavlova in Dallas, Texas from 2020-2023 before joining Nashville Ballet II for two seasons (2023-2025). She performed in company productions such as Paul Vasterling's Nutcracker , Romeo and Juliet , Sleeping Beauty , and George Balanchine's Serenade . With the second company, she performed Kitri in Don Quixote suite, soloist roles in Día de los Muertos by Maria Konrad, along with new works by Nick Mullikin, Durante Verzola, and Gabrielle Lamb. She was a finalist and regional award winner at the 2021 and 2022 Youth America Grand Prix, and competed at the Helsinki International Ballet Competition in 2022.

- Lilly Leech – Company Dancer | Los Angeles Ballet
Los Angeles Ballet presents a company of outstanding dancers from local communities and around the world. LAB dance artists master classical as well as contemporary techniques. Lilly Leech Hometown Cedarburg, WI Seasons with LAB 4 Seasons with LAB Lilly began her ballet training at age 11 with Rolando Yanes and Karl Rabenau at Milwaukee Ballet School. When Lilly was 17, she danced in the Studio Company at Ballet Chicago, directed by Daniel Duell and Patricia Blaire. She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Ballet Performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she trained with faculty members Michael Vernon, Sarah Wroth, Kyra Nichols, Carla Körbes, Sasha Janes, and Christian Claessens. After graduating, Lilly was a company dancer with the Indianapolis Ballet directed by Victoria Lyras. Lilly attended summer programs with Akram Khan at Orsolina28, Jacob’s Pillow, Chautauqua Institute, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Carolina Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Indiana University Ballet Theater, Milwaukee Ballet, and Boston Ballet. Lilly has loved performing works by Melissa Barak, Justin Peck, Akram Khan, Sasha Janes, Mark Morris, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbin’s, William Forsyth, Val Caniparoli, Christopher Wheldon, and Micheal Vernon.
